Theyr forecast F4 which looked spot on as I arrived and I was starting to rig my 8.2 when it picked up. Went for the 6.7 on the Bee 274 and had an excellent short session before the dinghy racing started and I had to leave the water (Championship Race apparently). I did'nt mind coming off too much as the wind was still increasing and I was well overpowered. Managed some reasonable gybes trying to keep the rig forward and my weight back and low throughout the foot change. Needed to commit weight into the turn to avoid being thrown off the outside in the stonger winds.

After a rest the wind appeared to be dropping so again thought about the 8.2. However, wind then increased again so went for the 6.2 on the Max 2 Air, after the dinghies had finished. Never used this sail on this board before but it worked well; the board was totally in control even thought he wind was mental at times. The Max 2 Air feels slower than the Bee, which is OK in the strong winds, but I found I had to bear away into the gybes to get some speed up otherwise the board stalled on the carving edge.

Tried chop hops but my timing must be totally out as I could not get the board to lift off.

Two excellent sessions and nice to get the sail size right each time for a change.
